Tuomi was born in Tampere on June 30, 1968. He studied general literature at the University of Tampere, art history and philosophy. He first published his first collection of poems called Iris In 1995. During his career, Tuomi published a total of 11 books.
Helsingin Sanomat and Morning paper praised the latest work of Tuomi Cardinal zen.
