Palmers Textil AG is looking for an investor: inside.
After the Austrian laundry provider slipped deeper into the red figures in the 2023/24 financial year, Palmers Textil AG now confirmed talks with investor: inside. The company is forcing a previously announced restructuring plan, Palmers confirmed at the request of Fashionunited.
The highest priority of the company has a sustainable continuation of the company and ensuring the workplaces of the employees: inside. Nevertheless, as a precaution, a report had to be submitted to the early warning system of the Austrian labor market service (AMS). However, it is currently not estimated whether and to what extent this measure is implemented. According to media reports, there are currently around 500 employees: inside at Palmers.
In the past financial year, the Austrian laundry group recorded a net loss of 14.7 million euros. The deficit was more than three times as high as in the previous year.
