The European Cycling Championships will start at 11.30 am with no fewer than eight Dutch participants. After 129.8 kilometers Ellen van Dijk, Riejanne Markus, Thalita de Jong, Charlotte Kool, Jeanne Korevaar, Anouska Koster, Floortje Mackaij, Lorena Wiebes and Demi Vollering hope to ensure Dutch success.
In the evening, the Dutch athletes can compete. Britt Weerman takes part in the high jump final, while Nadine Visser, Maayke Tjin-A-Lim and Zoë Sedney hope to qualify for the final battle through the semi-finals of the 100 meter hurdles. The Dutch men’s and women’s team on the 4×100 meter relay will also be in action.
