Owners of Villa Blauwhemel Diever take over Huygens Huys Frederiksoord

A few villages away, the news that Veldman is leaving his monumental building has spread. The owners of Villa Blauwhemel in Diever are interested in this and are going to start a new catering business called Restaurant Posten, the Swedish for post office.

“Actually, what chef Mikael Lindquist and I started here (in Diever, ed.), we will continue to build and expand in Frederiksoord,” says owner Ruwan Berculo. “At the same time, I will stay here (in Diever, ed.) with a partly new team and we will ensure that you can also eat very well here, but also have a short dinner. That is really intended for Frederiksoord.”
