A man in a social rental home in Amsterdam has to leave his house because he also owns and rents out two owner -occupied homes. The Amsterdam District Court has determined this according to the Ymere housing association. Because the man lives in a social rental home and has two owner -occupied houses, he would dupe home seekers. According to the housing corporation, the ruling can also have consequences for other social tenants with a house for sale.
