Telstar’s supporters finally beamed with happiness again. Their club from Velsen-Zuid won again on Friday evening after almost three months. Opponent Helmond Sport was defeated 3-2. Many fans thought it was an evening not to forget. “Cheering, jumping, dancing and screaming. It was great fun.”
“It was a fantastic evening,” said two very happy Telstar supporters. “We really enjoyed it.”
Turnaround
Telstar had a hectic week. For example, the Velsense club dismissed trainer Mike Snoei and the duo Ulrich Landvreugd and Anthony Correia must now ensure a turnaround. A tough task, since the White Lions were at the bottom before the match against Helmond Sport.
Yet, according to the supporters, there was clearly a shock effect against the Brabant club. “I saw a completely different Telstar today,” was one of the responses.
