THEn an era characterized by rapid changes in the world of work, Italy launched a new tool about a year ago. It’s about Siislthat is to say Information System for Social and Work Inclusiona digital platform that aims to simplify the meeting between job seekers and companies offering employment. The good news, however, is another: the system has achieved notable resultsdemonstrating a significant impact on the Italian employment landscape.
Siisl, a new approach to work
The analysis of data updated to 8 January reveals, in fact, that the online system is in full expansion, with numbers that demonstrate its growing relevance in the job market. The interactive showcase currently presents 15 thousand active job positionsthe result of advertisements published by companies and employment agencies. At the same time, however, the system offers 400,000 training opportunitiesdistributed through various regional bodies and specialized agencies.
Technology at the service of employment
Technological innovation is at the heart of this initiative. A sophisticated artificial intelligence algorithm analyzes candidates’ skills, facilitating the matching between professional profiles and job opportunities. This intelligent system has already processed over 349 thousand CVscoming from different categories of users: 80,460 beneficiaries of the Inclusion Allowance, 232,339 recipients of Support for training and work, and 36,334 recipients of Naspi and Discoll.

The constantly growing Siisl platform
Since its launch on September 1, 2023, Siisl recorded a total of 351,959 job positions insertedwith the active participation of 1,801 employment agencies. And, a particularly encouraging result emerges from the employment data: 43,175 people found employment with subordinate employment contracts.
The central role of training
As we were saying, the platform also focuses its attention on training, which represents a fundamental pillar of the project: the system is, in fact, designed to suggest targeted qualification paths, based on personal aspirations and the demands of the local market. Consequence that, of the 63,666 courses published, which offered a total of 834,985 places, 58,895 individuals completed training courses.
From December access to all citizens
Highly important fact, that the accessibility of the platform has been gradually extended: initially, in fact, it was reserved for beneficiaries of Support for training and work, then subsequently included the beneficiaries of Naspi and Discoll (from 24 November 2023) and the recipients of the Inclusion Allowance (from 1 January 2024). Finally, from December 18th, he decided to open up to the entire citizenrythrough SPID or CIE authentication.
Active participation of citizens and companies
The active involvement of users is demonstrated by the facts, or rather, by the numbers: they have been good 382.131 Digital activation agreements signeddistributed among 160,953 beneficiaries of the Inclusion Allowance, 191,562 of the Support for training and work, and 29,616 recipients of Naspi and Discoll. An excellent result, therefore, obtained by Siisl, which gives hope that the platform can increasingly represent a useful tool to face the challenges of the world of work, managing to offer new opportunities to both citizens and companies.
