In the summer of 1952, several bus loads full of elderly people from Bergen step in enthusiastically for a joint trip. At that time, villagers regularly go out together, often organized and always well visited. These trips are always recorded on film, so that the participants can look back on it later with at least as much pleasure.
This time the destination is the famous flower auction in Aalsmeer. Along the way the travelers make a stopover at the popular ending in Santpoort. There it is not a refreshing drink: to everyone’s surprise, the elderly also discover the playground, which they try out with visible pleasure.
That enjoying is at least as important as the day itself, it appears when the participants will see the film later. To their great joy, one aunt Kee plays a striking role in this, which only increases the joy.
