Otto International has appointed Tim Kutzner as the new Chief Financial Officer.
The Hamburg-based Otto Group announced on Tuesday that he will take up his new position at the procurement and service company on September 1st. Kutzner succeeds Daniel Chang “who is retiring at the end of the year”.
Kutzner comes from the ranks of the Hamburg mail order company. He has worked for the group in various positions since 2001. First he worked as an internal consultant, then from 2004 to 2006 he was responsible for acquiring new customers for the catalogues, then as head of sales and brand strategy and later as head of multichannel management. He also headed the strategy and controlling team at Otto Europe and was then managing director of Sheego. He is currently Head of Corporate Controlling at the Otto Group. In his new position as CFO for Otto International, he leads the global controlling and finance team.
“In Tim Kutzner, Otto International has gained a proven economics and finance expert as its new CFO,” said Sergio Bucher, Otto Group Board Member for Brands and Retail. “He brings with him exactly the knowledge and experience that is necessary to master the existing, well known, but also future challenges in global supply chain management with the team.
It was not until the end of April that it became known that former Walmart manager Heidi Stevens would become the new managing director of Otto International and succeed Michael Dumke.
