The Federal Ministry of Construction and KfW are improving funding conditions for
Climate-friendly new building by March 2, 2026

– Signal interest rate from 1% for temporary funding of the “Efficiency House 55” standard

The Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Construction and KfW
improve the conditions for new construction funding in the program
“Climate-friendly new building” clearly. The loan interest for the under this
Program temporarily resumed funding for the “Efficiency House
55″ standards drops to a signal interest rate of 1% effective pa (at ten
years term and ten years fixed interest rate): private and commercial investors
