Ostend-Bruges Airport revived
Travelers can fly again this summer to 20 sunny destinations from Ostend Airport. Spain will remain the most popular holiday destination in 2022. That is why extra flights to Alicante and Malaga are being used by TUI fly. Flights to Tenerife and Gran Canaria from Ostend will also be increased. Additional flights to Bulgaria and Greece are also planned this summer.
“Belgians prefer to depart close to home and greatly appreciate the easy accessibility and small scale of their regional airport,” explains managing director at TUI fly, Gunther Hofman.
Again outside Europe
Flying outside the European Union just got easier. It has been since the summer of 2019 that there were flights to Turkey and Tunisia. This summer holiday, up to 14 flights a week will again go in that direction. Ostend-Bruges Airport is pleased with this evolution: “We notice that more and more people are starting to travel again. We are well prepared and look forward to welcoming everyone back to our airport,” concludes CEO Eric Dumas.
