During the sun-drenched edition, more than 130 ships were moored in Ostend. Visitors could, among other things, see the three-masters Le Français and Artemis to admire. There were also demonstrations, thematic talks and information stands from maritime organizations.
The theme of this edition was “Caring for the sea”. The focus was on the conservation and restoration of the North Sea, with lectures and interactive stands.
The organization has now chosen to make the festival biennial. This will free up more budget to further expand the event.
