Prior to the council meeting, chairman Edwin Weide of the Oldtimerdag Ruinerwold foundation and board member Sander Dekker of the VVVo Ruinen called on the municipality to help. “We can fill in an event permit, but we now also have to apply for an environmental permit; filling it out was no fun. Will other permits be added in the context of nitrogen and nature? We have no idea how that works,” Weide raised his hands to the sky.
