Organizer Glory 80 expresses horror at riots during Badr Hari fight

Things got completely out of hand during Badr Hari’s match last night. Rioting supporters threw chairs during Badri Hari’s match and terrorized the hall in Hasselt, Belgium, as a result of which the kickboxing evening ended in a minor way. “We are shocked that these irresponsible actions have ruined everyone’s evening,” organizer Glory said in a statement.

“These individuals were trying to tarnish the image of the sport that we and millions of fans around the world love and care about. This kind of behavior has no place in our sport or at our events,” said Glory.

In the press release, the organizer emphasizes that it has not experienced any incidents of this scale in the past ten years. Glory claims that it has also taken all precautions and safety measures in Hasselt to prevent this. “With today’s knowledge, we now know all attendees are safe and no one was seriously injured. Safety of all participants and attendees is and will always be GLORY’s top priority.”

Glory will conduct a full investigation into the incident with local authorities in the coming days.
