In group four of a primary school I give a guest lesson about my profession (gynecologist). It fits nicely with the theme ‘Spring jitters’. In the middle of a circle of youthful listeners I tell about the beginning of life. I keep it simple: “If mom and dad love each other very much, his seeds go to her egg.” Then a finger rises. A kid with bright red cheeks asks: “Those seeds, is that just sperm?”
