Returning from my running round I come across two boys of 6 or 7 on the morning of Mother’s Day, clear brothers. “So sir, nice walking?” They ask spontaneously. I confirm that and ask if they have already celebrated Mother’s Day. An enthusiastic “Yes!” was the answer.
“But when we had given our present, Mama said” If you are going to play outside, then that is an even nicer gift. “So we’re still giving a gift now!”
