On this rainy day we play the board game Don’t be annoyed! with our granddaughters. “Whoever throws the highest goes first,” I tell them. Julia (6 years old) goes first and opens with five, quite a lot. Then it is Alice’s turn (4 years old). With a straight face she throws the dice…almost to the ceiling.
