I have been making personalized maternity gifts for almost 20 years. As soon as they are ready, I place them wrapped in foil on a cupboard in the hall, waiting for the person who comes to pick them up. Over the years I have seen many names, from old Dutch to exotic and everything in between. One day I was allowed to make a present for Maas. It turned out well and I was proud of it again. My husband saw it when he got home and said: “Maas? Who names their child after a river?” My response: “Well, Arno.”
