Artificial intelligence company Open AI released a new AI, logically named GPT-4, which follows its predecessor from GPT-3.5. The company said about the publication on their website.

GPT-4 understands images and entered text much more precisely than its predecessor. The learning ability of artificial intelligence has also been improved.

– We have spent 6 months teaching GPT-4. The results of factuality, controllability and compliance with safety limits are very good, although still far from perfect, Open AI says in its publication.

In teaching artificial intelligence, efforts have been made to take into account its predictability, future features and safety.

Open AI’s artificial intelligence has gained a lot of popularity in the chatbot – ChatGPTwith the

GPT-4 also protects the Icelandic language

The new artificial intelligence is already in use by many entities that use the language. For example, the popular language learning application, Duolingo, has adopted GPT-4 for its Duolingo Max subscribers.

Duolingo says in his blogthat you can ask the artificial intelligence for reasons for its answers and practice conversation in the language you are studying.

The Icelandic state is its president Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson took the initiative to use the benefits of artificial intelligence in order to preserve their language culture. Technology companies working with the language have participated in the initiative.

The company according to the publication GPT-4 can take into account grammatical errors in the Icelandic language better than its predecessor.

Humor is a tricky genre

AI has been admittedly clumsy in many cases. For example, humor is not the strongest point of artificial intelligence. Of course, humor appeals to many, and for some, the stumbling humor of artificial intelligence might work.

Artificial intelligence has also not admitted its ignorance in many matters. Kalle Päätalon of partners the artificial intelligence couldn’t tell like wood hay when the writer Jyri Paretskoi asked the artificial intelligence a simple question: “Has Kalle Päätalo been married?”.

According to the company, GPT-4 will still not understand real-world events as well as a human. So it’s pointless to keep asking the ministers’ favorite drinks or what the neighbors hear.

Despite its confusion, artificial intelligence has been successful in university studies. Artificial intelligence can produce relevant text, although the facts may also have been “a little out of place” according to the company.
