The Opel Corsa GSE collects and brings back to the market, updating them, all the distinctive features of the previous Corsa generations. Like Gsi (grand sport injection), the Opel Corsa had achieved great success by combining driving pleasure and high performance in a small and dynamic car. With the new Corsa GSE, these peculiar features are joined by the new electric engine, capable of expressing a maximum power of 281 HP (207 kW) and a torque of 345 Nm. Although it shares the same power as the current Opel Mokka GSE, the greater dynamics of the Corsa GSE allows it to reach a top speed of 180 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just a few seconds 5.5 secondsmaking this new model the best performing among those produced by Opel. There are three driving modes available: in Sportthe car is set to take its performance to the extreme and reaches maximum power thanks to its special calibration optimized for the track; in mode Normal it delivers 231 HP (170 kW) and the maximum speed remains 180 km/h; in mode Echo all settings are adjusted for the highest possible efficiency. In this case the maximum speed is 150 km/h. The new Opel Corsa GSE stores its energy in a lithium-ion battery 54 kWh. The Corsa GSE has front-wheel drive with a multi-plate Torsen limited-slip differential and a low-slung sports chassis with specially designed axles, stabilizers and hydraulic shock absorbers. Steering and pedal response are optimized and, when necessary, four-piston performance brakes ensure immediate deceleration from high speeds.

Although the well-known variants of the current Opel Corsa generation already have a dynamic design, the hot hatch It also visually underlines its promise of high performance down to the last detail, with the GSE-specific front spoiler an immediate eye-catcher. The driver and front passenger sit on performance, heated seats with Alcantara applications and integrated head restraints. The bright yellow seat belts create a strong contrast. Quality is also conveyed by the steering wheel, which is also heated, and the door inserts covered in Alcantara, the armrests with yellow stitching and the dashboard with the GSE logo on a silver-grey background. The acceleration and braking pedals are made of aluminium. The necessary information is transmitted to the driver via the digital display, which can be personalized, and the central 10-inch color touchscreen. The 180-degree rear camera and system complete the offer Keyless Entry & Start and the on-board bidirectional charger (V2L), which not only allows you to charge the Opel sports car, but can also be used to power external devices, for example e-bikes or electric grills, with electricity coming directly from the vehicle’s battery.
