Will ONR and vv Nieuw-roden soon be on one sports park? The municipality of Noordenveld will investigate whether this is a possibility in the future.
A unanimous Noordenveld city council voted today for a proposal to investigate a collaboration. The municipality would like VV ONR to move, because they see the fields of the club in Roden as a good location for housing. Noordenveld has already had an investigation carried out to see whether ONR can be used at the sports park by neighbor VV Roden. That is possible, but both associations do not think it desirable.
Meanwhile, there are ‘constructive talks’ between VV ONR and VV Nieuw-Roden. Both clubs are ready for new accommodation and there may be room for another club at VV Nieuw-Roden. The Noordenveld city council thinks that could be a better option than a move from ONR to VV Roden.
