Harjunpää– crime series, which appeared in February 2025 on the Katsomo+ service, will be available to watch for free today. The opening episode of the season will be shown tonight on MTV3.
In Harjunpää we follow Timo Harjunpää and Onerva Nykä, who work in the criminal police’s violence department. Olli Rahkonen will play the role of Harjunpää, Olga Temonen, who died in November 2025, will play Onerva.
Temonen was awarded for his role posthumously in January. For his role, he received the Performer of the Year award voted by the public at the Kultainen Venla gala of the television industry. He would have turned 48 on the same day. The award was accepted at the gala by the spouse Tuukka Temonen.
– This role was the fulfillment of Olga’s dreams, Tuukka Temonen said in his acceptance speech.
Harjunpää the second season was filmed in the spring of 2023. Olga Temonen was diagnosed with brain cancer later that year.

Harjunpää the opening episode of the season investigates the murder of a successful architect. The investigative team suspects that the murder is connected to the ongoing wave of love scams.
