Caroline Tensen is suddenly in the danger zone with her TV classic One against 50 (formerly One against 100). The competition is tough, but her viewing figures are very disappointing. How did that happen?

The new season of One against 50 is now three episodes on the way, but it’s really not going well. Yesterday, the third episode attracted 672 thousand viewers (14.5% market share) to RTL 4. The competition was fierce with the final of Boer Zoekt Vrouw – 2.9 million people (55%) watched it – but the difference is very significant. very large.

“Just not fun!”

What is the problem according to TV connoisseur Tina Nijkamp, the former channel boss of SBS 6? She thinks that One against 50 should quickly go back to the original format, from before corona. “I understand that the ratings have dropped. The charm of One against 100 was that it was one against a hundred people.”

It’s all a bit more boring now, Tina thinks. “Fifty people make this format half less fun. Corona rules are over. So why tell me why?”

It would be a personal drama for Caroline if One Against 50 would disappear from the tube. She has been stubbornly clinging to the game show for years. She even appeared black and blue in the studio once, because she didn’t want to be replaced.

Farmers at the top

Most TV viewers went for Farmer Seeks Woman yesterday, which experienced its final episode. That is good news for Caroline. This Sunday NPO 1 will broadcast Giovanca Ostiana’s new gospel program and that will probably not be a hit.

Who were the winners during the second half of prime time? NPO 1’s Even Tot Hier with 1.8 million viewers (47%) and RTL 4’s Humberto with 535 thousand viewers (12%).

Million Dollar Island

NPO 2 takes bronze thanks to College Tour (514 thousand and 11%) and Nieuwsuur (417 thousand and 8%). With that, the channel puts down very nice scores.

The channel that again disappoints heavily is SBS 6. Undercover in the Netherlands did not get more than 345 thousand viewers (7%) and the very expensive Million Dollar Island had to settle for 359 thousand viewers (7%).

Viewing figures

Other programs that did not make the top 15 include vtwonen (341 thousand), Buitenhof (340 thousand), Tropen Jaar (279 thousand) and WNL op Zondag (260 thousand).
