Candle evening

Lights, choirs and Santa Claus: on Tuesday, December 10, the traditional candle evening will take place in the Dorpsstraat. At 6 p.m. the mayor lights the Christmas tree on the Dobbeplas and the lights parade begins. The parade ends in Dorpsstraat, where you will encounter decorated shop windows, choirs and Charles Dickens figures.

Do you want to buy a sustainable Christmas present for yourself or someone else? Then go to the Christmas brocante and jewelry garage sale in Bootsmastraat on Wednesday, December 11 between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM.

Gift & Fresh Market

The Gift & Fresh Market will take place in Dorpsstraat on Thursday, December 12. This market consists of regional entrepreneurs with stalls full of regional products and artisanal goods. Enjoy fresh food, gift items and sustainable creations. The market is open from 10am to 5pm.

Winter wonderland Oosterheem

InZet Oosterheem and Enjoy Life will transform the Oosterheem district into a winter wonderland on Wednesday, December 11. There will be a free winter party for local residents with various activities from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Think of an architectural walk, making Christmas decorations in the craft corner and a book cargo bike for the little ones. Fearless Me also gives a musical workshop for young people at Enjoy Life.

Latin Improv Jam Night

Every Thursday evening there is Latin Improv Jam night at Le Club BBQ. From 9 p.m., musicians, producers, music lovers and fans can meet, perform and network under the guidance of Soeshiel Sharma. Enjoy live music, dancing and chatting. Admission is free and don’t forget to bring your own instrument.
