As the city where everything more or less started for the Beatles, Hamburg naturally has a very special relationship with Paul McCartney. And love is mutual. On his return in 1989, Sir Paul paid interest and compound interest on an old cover in the neighborhood pub “Gretel und Alfons” on Große Freiheit, which the Beatles had not paid for in 1962. One day after his 80th birthday, the Hanseatic city is celebrating a big festival on Sunday (June 19) at the factory in Altona under the motto “Celebrating the Musical Genius of PAUL MCCARTNEY”, at which artists such as Wolfgang Niedecken, Inga Rumpf, Gustav Peter Wöhler, Otto Waalkes, Stoppok, the Kaiser Quartet, Phil Siemers and many others will interpret his songs. Writer and Beatles expert Frank Goosen and the initiator of the evening, the singer, songwriter and Hamburg Beatles ambassador Stephanie Hempel, will lead through the program.

If you didn’t get tickets for the evening or can’t make it to Hamburg in time, you can book the concert on June 19th. from 8 p.m. on the stream www.livefrom.hamburg track live. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
