Recommendations of the Editorial team
Last year in July, Berlin had already experienced a “struggle of the giants” with concerts on one day of: Saxon, Toto, Judas Priest, Uriah Heep and Pearl Jam (who then canceled). This March, on Friday, March 14th, there will be a similarly strong visit in Berlin (plus Potsdam!).
Jamie XX, Kiz, Lucy Dacus, Lenny Kravitz, John Cale and Leoniden appear in Berlin or Potsdam. Below is an overview of acts and locations.
Lenny Kravitz
The American retro rocker has booked the largest of the Berlin halls. Kravitz appears in the Uber Arena in Berlin-Friedrichshain to present his current album “Blue Electric Light”. There are still cards.
John Cale
The ex-Velvet underground musician presents his new work “Poptical Illusion”. He appears in the Columbiahalle in Kreuzberg. Here too: tickets are still available.
Jamie XX
After Lenny Kravitz and Kiz (see below) the third largest booking for Friday evening. And in the immediate vicinity of Lenny. Jamie XX plays the Uber Eats Music Hall opposite the large arena. There are still tickets for the “in Waves” concert tour.
Lucy Dacus
Also in Friedrichshain, just ten minutes walk from Lenny and Jamie: Lucy Dacus. The musician appears in the Astra. But: all cards are already gone. The first of two concerts on Friday evening, which is sold out. Astra is also a number smaller than the corporate halls …
Leonid
Berliners have to go out a little further to see Leonids on Friday. For Potsdam concert goers, it means: home game. The band is on “Sophisticated Sad Songs” tour and puts a stop in the wash house. Cards are available.
Kiz
Görlitzer Park in Prenzlauer Berg. The rap troop appears in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, at the Mauerpark. It is the second largest of the concert locations booked this Friday. And the gig is sold out.
