OM: complaint filed against Glennis Grace

Glennis Grace has been reported to have been involved in the supermarket incident in Amsterdam last week. There is also a report against her son and the third suspect, a friend of the family. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service confirms this on Tuesday after reporting by Shownieuws.

It is not known by whom the declarations were made or for what purpose. The singer’s lawyer, Kerem Canatan, does not want to reveal anything about this. “We are not commenting on this at this time and I refer to the client’s statement from last week.”

“Last Saturday I was arrested after an incident in a supermarket in Amsterdam,” the singer, who is actually called Glenda Batta, wrote on her Instagram account last week. “I look forward to the investigation, which is still ongoing, with confidence because I know that I have not committed any criminal offences. While I’d like to say more about this, in the interest of the investigation I’m keeping my mouth shut for now. As soon as I can, I’ll give a response.”

The 43-year-old singer has been detained after she was arrested together with her 15-year-old son and a third person after a violent incident in a Jumbo supermarket in the Westerstraat in Amsterdam. The three are suspected of public violence and mistreatment in association and with premeditation, the police said earlier.
