In the opening match of the 2022-23 season in the French Ligue 1, Olympique Lyon defeated Ajaccio 2-1 at home.
The goals that brought the victory to the Lyon representative were scored by Tete in the 12th minute and Alexandre Lacazette in the 22nd minute (penalty). Thomas Mangani scored the visitors’ only goal from the penalty spot in the 31st minute.
Anthony Lopes was out of the game in the 27th minute for the home team and Romain Hamouma for the visitors was left out with a red card at the 45th minute.
