Are there spectators at the Olympics?

No foreign sports fans are allowed in Beijing. Locals are allowed access – but only if strict Corona rules are observed.

For all participants in the Winter Games, a closed bubble will be set up around the competition venues from January 23, which may not be left. This shielded area also includes the accommodations. Those involved in the Winter Games are only allowed to move within the bubble for training sessions and competitions and for their respective work. All participants and helpers must complete a daily corona test.
