She is one of the greatest talents in her sport and has already won numerous competitions. But now Tina Erzar has suffered a bad blow.

The Slovenian youth hopping Tina Erzar will miss the upcoming ski jumping winter and thus also the Olympic Winter Games. The 17-year-old made a rare disease public through Instagram profile, which forces her to take a longer break.

Erzar reported severe neck pain, which finally led to an MRI examination. “It is an aneurysmatic bone cyst on my neck. This day completely broke me … I knew that I would miss my dream Olympia. I was afraid of what was in front of me and needed some time to get back to my feet.” Bone disease occurs primarily in young people.

The treatment has already started, Erzar continued. She is currently being treated with syringes. She has no pain. “It will take a year, but when it works, I am the happiest child of all time!” Said the 17-year-old. The hope of returning to professional sports remains.

“I miss the jumping more than anything. I would do everything to be back on the hill,” she continued – at the moment it was only a wish. In the past two winters, Erzar had already found a connection to the expanded world top.
