Olympic committee wants to allow Russian youth teams and athletes again under their own flag and anthem

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) wants youth athletes and youth teams from Russia and Belarus to be allowed to participate in international competitions again without restrictions under their own flag and national anthem. The recommendation is the next step in the reintegration of both countries, which have been excluded from the international sports world since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
