The last moments
Tuukka does not want to tell the public what his and Olga’s last words were to each other. However, the director says that when Olga left, they made her feel as good and safe as possible. According to Tuuka, Olga was surrounded by love in her last moments.
– The most arresting moment was when the last breath comes, says the director.
– She was a truly wonderful person, Tuukka Temonen describes his late wife. Elle Laitila
Olga showed in numerous interviews that she remained optimistic and hopeful that she would still recover from cancer. Tuukka says that these traits remained in Olga until the end.
– Hope lasts as long as there is life. And it wouldn’t have bothered us if Olga had just been in bed, sick and sick, as long as she was here. That would have been fine for us, Tuukka says.
According to Tuukka, Olga’s sisters and a few friends came to say goodbye to her the day before her death. According to Tuukka, other friends and loved ones also had time to say goodbye to Olga before her death.
Tuukka says that his and Olga’s children are doing just fine in the midst of grief.
– Of course, this is still a new situation for them, but they too have had time to prepare for this for more than two years. As children, they will certainly adapt to this situation perhaps even faster than me, the director estimates.

– Yes, I knew that Olga had many friends and she was a very well-liked person. I think it’s great that we get to share this loss with others as well. It makes it easier and helps me to move on from the situation.
A memorial service
Tuukka can’t say anything about Olga’s memorial service yet, other than that it will be held in his hometown in Iiti before Christmas. According to Tuukka, the event will be partially open.
– Because Olga has a lot of friends that I don’t even know or have met. I even got a few messages from people about their experiences, what he has done with them. So I wouldn’t know how to invite all the people who should be invited, the director opens.
According to Tuuka, Olga had one wish for the memorial service.
– There must be a big party.
The couple’s relationship lasted more than 20 years. They got married in 2008. The family includes four children.
