An elderly woman was found seriously injured by a family member in a seniors’ flat on Maria van Bourgondiëlaan in Eindhoven on Tuesday evening. There may be a robbery.
The report was received by the police at half past nine. An ambulance was immediately called for the injured woman. Several police cars also came to the apartment. It is not known how the woman could have been injured. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Alarmed officers have found clues that may point to a robbery, but according to the police, much is still unclear. All possible scenarios are taken into account.
The home has been sealed so that additional investigation can be conducted on Wednesday.
