According to the trade magazine, it is now “unlikely” that the negotiations will fail. The breakthrough could probably even come this weekend. In the best case scenario, Hütter will take up his position in Frankfurt at the beginning of next week, it is said.
It now seems clear that the Austrian fits exactly into the requirements profile of sports director Markus Krösche. The SGE sports director recently indicated a return to old strengths.
Under the new (old) trainer they want to find the right mix of possession football and switching play. Frankfurt’s former counterattacking strength was hardly distinguished last season.
