Oktoberfest open again after Family Drama escalates in Munich: two dead, backpack with explosives and house full of booby traps

A horrible family drama around an inheritance has had major consequences for Munich and temporarily stopped the world -famous Oktoberfest. A man killed his father, injured his mother and set the parental home that he had placed full of booby traps. The case then escalated from a letter left behind that the perpetrator, who felt “deceived”, also had the Oktoberfest as a target. The festival site remained closed for some time, but has since been released by the police.
