OG Keemo and his eternal producer funk father Frank are back. A long-awaited end to the countdown has revealed what Project Berserker is all about. On Thursday, May 7th at 6:00 p.m. OG Keemo returned with the line “How much can you see without seeing?” The countdown renewed – and so OG Keemo fans have been able to satisfy their addiction with 5 new songs since May 8th.

Cinematic samples meet deep basses and moshpit-forming drums. The lyrics are as direct as the titles: “I smoke until it melts my face because I have to fill in this skin like a mandatory field” – “Chaos”. In “Hass” Funkfather Frank lets the kick dance in Jersey style before he lets us fall back deep into the armchair in “Auge”. An album that treats the song selection like an art exhibition – not like individual hits. Intro lines that rival those of their predecessors. The material is really good.

But the material is so good: “I need more” – OG Keemo, “More” – and you stare at the countdown starting again. New expiration date: May 14th at 6:00 p.m. On Ascension Day the Berserker returns, probably first with another single and then later that night with a larger delivery.
Although a female voice can be heard on “Auge,” the previous song credits are silent about feature guests. It remains to be seen whether this will change with subsequent releases. It also remains unclear how much new music can be expected. But the Instagram pages of OG Keemo and Funkfather Frank are filling up again, German rap is breathing a sigh of relief – and the countdown is on.
