And another countdown comes to an end. On Thursday, May 14th, at 6:00 p.m., fans of the rapper received a visualizer for the existing five songs from the “Berserker+” EP instead of new music. One fan wrote on YouTube: “He has us on a leash.” It seems to be a promotional phase that we can enjoy for some time to come. As OG Keemo aptly proclaims in his first released track “Blind”: “I don’t care if he lives in Patagonia, I just want the promo to start.” Apparently it’s far from over, as the newly released timer announces a further date than some fans expected. It will expire on June 5th at 2:00 p.m. and will reveal new art.
Whether this is a song, an album or another medium remains to be seen. In any case, the visual art on the official “Berserker26” website has changed: the style is the same, but the old paintings and pictures of OG Keemo and his producer Funkfather Frank are new.
The EP is pulling – and the fans want more
Whatever happens, the fans are lining up. The EP, which was only released last Friday, already ensures that all five tracks are on par. “Blind” reached the million mark on May 15th after just one week, proving that the concept behind Berserker and the entire rollout is working very well. An EP that, not just through musical samples from horror films and good rhymes, but especially through recurring visual symbols – such as stag beetles – invites you to stop turning off the constant loop.
Rapper AZAD serves as the epic’s narrator, while Ramzey and Maïa support the whole thing. The cardboard crown OG Keemos can be seen on “Blind” is starting to turn gold, because his fans seem to have munched on the feast with the new EP – but are far from being full.
