Officially: Hertha BSC is separating from Fredi Bobic with immediate effect

Quote from HaHoHertha

It’s hard for me to find positive points to rate Bobic’s work at Hertha. I can’t think of anything that any random manager couldn’t have done. On the negative side, on the other hand, after one and a half years in office, one can list far too many points:

1. Personnel decisions from start to finish Flops: Menger (goalkeeping coach), Dufner (squad planning), Wané (scouting), Korkut, Schwarz. Dardai’s dismissal not only set us back in terms of sport, it also cost us millions (salaries, severance pay, Magath, less TV revenue due to poor placement)
2. No transfer was triggered, but all the more flopped: Lee, Maolida (4 million), Kanga (4 million), Boëtius, Jovetic, Kempf, Rogel, Uremovic, Sunjic, Richter (7 million), Serdar… strengthened us actually none.
3. Far too high fluctuation in the squad due to partly unnecessary transfer decisions (Maier -> Boateng; Torunarigha -> Kempf; Stark -> Rogel/Uremovic). Causes high expenses for sign-up money and consultant fees.
4. Own crops were sold or could not be kept: Maier, Torunarigha, Netz, Kade, Aseko, Bayinder.

Why do you think Bobic was so mad that manga didn’t switch with him?
He had planned that because he was well aware of the fact that while he can get a signature on a contract, he is unable to find suitable players.
If I remember correctly, he made verbal promises to some players and I think Hütter too, which of course weren’t in their contracts and then fell on Frankfurt’s toes when he was gone and nobody knew anything about it.
He reminded me a lot of a used car salesman.

I’m glad that he left us at the time and Krösche came for it, but I can’t understand it.
He had Manga, who regulated the player side, fans who were already happy about a single-digit place in the table and a presidency that was so calm that they stuck to Hütter even when he did massive damage to the club and the CL Quali has gambled away.
In the end, the latter turned out to be a stroke of luck, but nobody could have foreseen it at the time.
Bobic had a perfectly secure job and would never have run the risk of being fired if he hadn’t gone himself.
How can you give something like that up?
