Odlo appoints new Germany boss

The Swiss outdoor outfitter Odlo has appointed Thomas Krichel to the newly created position of Head of DACH.

Odlo announced on Monday that Krichel is taking on “the majority” of the tasks of Pascal Schweizer, who was previously the managing director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Schweizer is leaving the outdoor specialist after nine years on January 31, 2023 to take over the management of a medium-sized company.

The new head of Germany comes from within the company and works closely with his predecessor. In this position, Krichel will report directly to Cedric Georges, Global Wholesale Director, and Andre Wolters, Lead Global E-Wholesale. He joined Odlo Sports GmbH as Area Manager in 2015 and is currently Sales Manager Germany. Before that, he worked as an area manager for the sales specialist Sport Aktuell.

“Thomas maintains a very good relationship with our partners, has a very good sense of market trends and brings with him the necessary strategic prerequisites for his new position,” says Schweizer.

There was a change at the top of the company at the end of November. Daniel Eppler takes over the overall management as managing director for Odlo and the parent company Monte Rosa Sport, which also owns the brands Henri-Lloyd and Janus in addition to Odlo.
