Scott L. Schwartz is dead. At the age of 65, the former wrestler and actor died on November 26th at his home in Covington, Louisiana. As his wife Misty Schwartz publicly stated, the cause was congestive heart failure.

He loved “life and everyone he met along the way.”

In a brief statement to The Hollywood Reporter, Misty Schwartz described her husband: “Most people associate Scott with movies, but those who knew him personally associated him with a cheerful, full-of-life person, a strong, loving person Foodie and a travel lover.” He was someone who “truly loved life and everyone he met along the way.”

Schwartz gained greater fame through his role as the good-natured muscleman Bruiser in the three films “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001), “Ocean’s Twelve” (2004) and “Ocean’s Thirteen” (2007).

George Clooney, the star of the “Ocean’s” trilogy, also commented on Schwartz’s death, according to the Hollywood Reporter. He made reference to a scene in which his character Danny Ocean is mock-beaten by Bruiser. “I’m sorry to hear that Scott has passed away,” Clooney said. “We have done three films together and I have never been hit so gently.
