On the stage, Liam Gallagher dedicated the song “D’Yu Know What I Mean” to the city coach and described him as “The Boss” and “greatest coach of all time”. The comment ensured mixed reactions in the audience, including because of the traditional rivalry between Manchester City and Manchester United.

Noel Gallagher, self-confessed Manchester City fan, reacted to the boos from the audience with the words: “Who the hell do you actually boost?” That made many fans laugh. But at the latest with the first guitar reef from “D’Yu Know What I Mean?” Harmony returned to Heaton Park.
Previously, Noel Gallagher had dedicated the song “Half The World Away” by British actress Caroline Ahernen and her co-star Craig Cash. Ahernen died of cancer in 2016. The song served as the title melody for the BBC sitcom “The Royl Family”.
