O Gran Camiño 2022: route, favorites, schedules and TV

The Galician test The Great Road 2022 of cycling started on February 24 in Porrino and ends with an individual time trial this Sunday 27 in the town Sarria.

ROUTE AND STAGES OR GREAT ROAD 2022

O Great Road will travel the four provinces of the autonomous community with sinuous routeswhere group arrivals are never guaranteed.

  • STAGE 1: O Porriño – Vigo (165 kms)

The challenge will start on Thursday in Porriño, with two small high scores and quite a few steep slopes in the final part on the way to Vigo.

STAGE 2: Bertamiráns – Mirador do Ézaro (177.6 kms)

In the second fraction, on Friday 25, will come the first key ending, with the climb to Ézaro, and its ramps of up to almost 28%preceded by Alto de Ameixenda.

The first of the two key stages will arrive on Saturday. ANDhe stage will be the Ribeira Sacra, overcoming the heights of Noguera (2nd), Seragude (1st) and Moura (1st) just before the finish line in Luintra.
