NYSE value: American Express stock slightly firmer: New CFO at American Express

The credit card company American Express gets a new chief financial officer.

Jeffrey Campbell is leaving the company on August 14 and handing over to his previous deputy Christophe Le Caillec, the US company American Express announced on Tuesday in New York. Campbell will remain with American Express as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors until March 2024.

The manager took over the post of chief financial officer in 2013. He previously held the same role at drug retailer McKesson and American Airlines. According to the information, his successor Le Caillec has been working for American Express for more than 25 years.

American Express shares temporarily rose 0.28 percent on the NYSE to $167.57.
