THE HAGUE – The number of building permits issued for homes fell again in the first quarter, after last year’s revival. This means that there are not enough homes to be added for the time being to meet the enormous demand for houses, says chief economist Peter Hein van Mulligen of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS).
