The number of foreign multinationals with a branch in the Netherlands has increased significantly between 2015 and 2020. According to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the Netherlands had more than 37,000 foreign companies at the beginning of 2020 with offices in several countries, including the Netherlands. That is 15 percent more than five years earlier.
