According to the NS, regional carriers can drive. This means that the train traffic from Arriva between Emmen and Zwolle can run.
The NS is calling on people to postpone the train journey with this carrier. And people already on the road should look for other travel options. The technical malfunction is in the travel advice system, which means that the information at stations and travel planners did not work. The sound systems at stations also do not work. The travel information at the stations was restored during the afternoon.
“We are working hard on recovery, but unfortunately it is not yet possible to say how long this situation will last,” the NS said on its website.
