With a TV commercial in which a dog dressed as a crustacean ends up in the cooking pot, the animal rights organization asks supermarkets to no longer sell live lobsters. In this way they hope to spare the animals the suffering of the bubbling broth. But does a lobster feel like it’s being cooked? And does the crustacean have the same feelings as a dog? We looked into it. “They even register a temperature difference of 0.15 degrees.”
