JP Kukkonen is in the position of a victim in court. Ex-wife Netta Kukko is accused of defamation, violation of domestic peace and unauthorized dissemination of a sexual image.
The District Court of Helsinki will deal with cases in due course. The indictments have not been read yet, so their exact content is not public.
In any case, they relate to the time after Kukkosti’s separation. The couple, who quickly got married in 2023, divorced at the end of the same year. At that time, it was revealed to JP Kukkonen through the media that his wife has a long criminal record.

According to the man, the problems that are now being discussed in court started after the divorce. According to him, the ex-wife has, among other things, once published nude photos of her on social media and sent sex videos to acquaintances.
– He sent one sex video of me and himself to my mother, says JP Kukkonen.
According to JP Kukkonen, after the failure of his marriage, he used continuous input during interrogations at the Pasila police station. In addition to the three charges, according to Kukkonen, the criminal process still includes serious violent crimes and ambiguities related to the economy. So far, the prosecutor has not made any decisions about these.
– What was revealed yesterday is the tip of the iceberg, JP Kukkonen sums up.
According to JP Kukkonen, the situation with his ex-wife has since calmed down.
The man describes “being an entertainment celebrity for a couple of years” as a difficult time.
– I’ve had to experience pretty drastic things, but when you’re a relatively wealthy middle-aged man, I can’t be a victim, Kukkonen describes his experiences and the general attitude of the people.
The journey has included burnout, but also new love. According to him, building a new relationship has still not been easy in this situation.
– Yes, I could use my time and energy for other things than dealing with messes related to my ex-wife.
