With the De Dreefmolen turbine project, Ivento wants to create wind energy along the E403 highway in Loppem, near Zedelgem. As wind turbine project developers, they explain the plans at an information meeting before the public inquiry starts. Only then can residents submit an objection.
But Loppem does not seem to have the same momentum as in Oostkamp and Damme. “The explanation was clear. I am not negative, everyone wants greener energy,” says a local resident.
