The private bank Berenberg has lowered the price target for Novo Nordisk from 975 to 725 Danish crowns and left the rating at “Hold”.
Analyst Kerry Holford justified the target reduction for Novo Nordisk in a study available on Monday with disappointing study data for the weight loss drug Cagrisema. The weight loss fell short of investors’ expectations.
Jefferies lowers Novo Nordisk target to 515 crowns – ‘underperform’
The analysis house Jefferies has lowered the price target for Novo Nordisk from 575 to 515 Danish crowns and left the rating at “Underperform”. In a study available on Monday, analyst Peter Welford wrote of disappointing study data for the active ingredient Cagrisema for use against obesity. He expects the market start to be delayed by a year in 2027 and at the same time reduced the forecast for the maximum achievable sales with the medium. The consensus estimates for Cagrisema would probably have to fall even further.
On the Copenhagen stock exchange, Novo Nordisk shares temporarily lost 1.90 percent to 625.40 Danish crowns on Monday.
